The wrinkles in the fabric are made by interspersing yarns in the weft and warp, fabricating this finish when relaxed. Georgette is frequently casted for evening gowns, bridal wear, traditional and special occasions, but is a multifaceted fabric plied for many different cuts of dresses, including a-line, flare, and wrap dresses. It is also tailored for midi dresses and maxi dresses with both long sleeves and short sleeves.
